Terms of Service

1. Scope
These Terms of Service apply to the use of the service "QR Bill" (qrbill.dev), operated by e9li GmbH, Switzerland (hereinafter "Provider"). By registering, the user accepts these terms.
2. Service Description
The service provides an API for generating QR bills (QR-Rechnung) according to the SIX standard. The user submits invoice data via API and receives a PDF document in return.
3. Registration and Account
- The user must register with a valid email address
- The user is responsible for the security of their credentials and API keys
- Only one account per person or company is allowed
- The user must provide accurate information
4. Subscriptions and Pricing
The service offers various subscriptions (Free, Starter, Business) with different quotas. Current prices are available on the pricing page .
- The free subscription has a fixed monthly quota
- Paid subscriptions include a base quota with automatic overage billing
- Price changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance
- All prices are in CHF, excluding any applicable VAT
5. Payment and Billing
- Payment is processed via Stripe (credit card)
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Overage fees are billed at the end of the billing period
- In case of payment default, access to the service may be restricted
6. Cancellation
- The free subscription can be cancelled at any time
- Paid subscriptions can be cancelled at the end of the billing period
- Cancellation is done via the Stripe customer portal or by account deletion
- Fees already paid are non-refundable
7. Terms of Use
- The user may only use the service for lawful purposes
- The user is responsible for the accuracy of the submitted invoice data
- The free subscription is not intended for commercial use by companies (GmbH, AG, SA, etc.)
- API keys must not be shared with third parties
- The service must not be used for spam, fraud, or illegal activities
8. Availability and Liability
The provider strives for high availability of the service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work will be announced in advance whenever possible.
The provider's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. The provider is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss. The generated QR bills serve as an aid — the user is responsible for the accuracy of the invoice details.
9. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy .
10. Intellectual Property
All rights to the service, including software, design, and trademarks, belong to e9li GmbH. The generated PDF documents belong to the user.
11. Changes to the Terms
The provider reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of e9li GmbH.
